Michelle, who is one of the writers of the Older Parent Adoption Blog, recently did a list of "100 things about me" to celebrate her 100th post in that blog.

Well, I happen to be over the 100 blog mark, but this month I have written the MAXIMUM number of blogs for adoptionblogs for each of the two blogs I write. That doesn't mean much to anyone besides the others who write blogs at this site, but I have to tell you, it was quite a feat.

The magic number for two blogs is 86. Here are the first 43.

47. My husband and I met at work and I was not at all attracted to him when I met him...but he grew on me.

51. I have always loved the John Singer Sargeant painting "Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose." When I saw it in person at the Tate museum I sat and looked at it for at least an hour.

53. I am irrationally scared of mice and bats.

54. I have 8 e-mail accounts and I'm just about to add 2 more.

55. I have worked as a waitress,

66. I am a member of FRUA, SCBWI, the PTA, and I vote independent.

67. I am not a fan of George Bush.

70. I once wrote an 86-page letter.

71. I don't react well when someone gets angry at me (and then doesn't apologize).

73. My honeymoon was in Alaska and I'd love to go back.

78. I can't drink alcohol anymore - it goes right to my head.

82. Here are the men on TV I think are hot: the guy who plays Nick on CSI; the guy who used to play Harm on Jag; and the guy who plays Seth Bullock on Deadwood. I see a pattern here... and my husband resembles none of them.

84. I'm a little obsessive about checking my e-mail.
